Pascal Steel is proud to announce the successful completion of our latest project at LEGOLAND California Resort in Carlsbad, CA, supporting the construction of the park’s exciting new Galacticoaster attraction.
As a subcontractor working alongside general contractor Swinerton, Pascal Steel was responsible for the supply and erection of specialized metal building components, including wall and ceiling systems sourced from Nucor Building Systems.
The project represents another milestone for Pascal Steel, showcasing our ability to deliver high-quality metal building solutions for unique commercial and entertainment facilities. We’re honored to have contributed to a landmark addition to one of Southern California’s most popular family destinations.
Project Overview
LEGOLAND California’s Galacticoaster is a major new attraction, bringing an immersive, space-themed roller coaster experience to the resort. As the park’s first new roller coaster in more than 20 years, the attraction represents a significant investment in the future of the destination.
Pascal Steel’s scope of work focused on the metal building components supporting the new attraction, including the installation of pre-engineered wall and ceiling systems supplied by Nucor Building Systems.
These components contribute to the enclosure and architectural finish of the facility, demonstrating the versatility of metal building systems in specialized entertainment environments.
Steel materials began arriving on-site in February 2025, and Pascal Steel’s involvement spanned approximately nine months of active construction, with a temporary project hold during the latter part of 2025.
Throughout the project, our team worked to deliver quality workmanship while coordinating with the broader construction team on a complex and highly specialized facility.
